WHO IS SISU ?
SISU is the art-world alias of LA-based animator, Bob Boyle (Disney, Nickelodeon, Netflix, Cartoon Network, Sesame Street). As much as he loves making cartoons for kids, he also has a burning desire to create art that explores deeper subjects.
He is currently focused on combining his passions for art and athletics via a creative fellowship with the Boston based running brand, Tracksmith.
WHY SISU ?
Bob’s mother was from Finland and she instilled in him the Finnish concept of Sisu, which is described as “stoic determination, tenacity of purpose, grit, bravery and resilience”. Bob tries to embrace that ethos in everything he does.
